ICAD Automation has been furnishing California’s Central Valley with industrial automation since 2005.  This is a full-time position with competitive pay; health, dental and vision coverage; retirement plan with matching and paid time off.  

The Control System Fabricator / Panel Builder is responsible for the physical assembly and wiring of industrial control panels. Ideal candidates are organized, detail oriented, effective communicators, technically savvy, and possess a electrical background.


  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Possess strong communication skills. Interacts with team members at all levels of the organization.
  3. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used to build electrical panels. Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and electronics.

Essential Duties

  1. Comply with all safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations.
  2. Build industrial control panels based on schematic, blueprint, and wire schedule. Additionally, includes wiring, point to point with knowledge of standard wiring procedures which includes proper labeling, routing, stripping, crimping of lugs, torque terminal blocks, and termination per specifications.

  1. Must have good vision and be able to read small print, see colors, able to read and understand contracts; ability to write proposals and plans, use a computer to communicate via email, to conduct research, and to prepare reports, documents and letters.
  2. Must be able to communicate verbally in person and via telephone to understand customer needs, provide direction, explain solutions, and present information.
  3. Physical requirements also include walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, stretching, reaching and climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
