In this project summary, our ICAD engineers worked with a mechanical process contractor and a seed technology solutions company, as the end-user, to design and install a seed processing line. ICAD used the contractor’s detailed design and process description to create a control design & network for a fully functioning seed processing line.

Scope of Work
  • Provide control panels, associated programming, and selected instrumentation based on customer specifications and the Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID).
  • On-site commissioning with mechanical process contractor for a harmonious start-up process.
Collaboration
  • The mechanical process contractor supplied and installed equipment (Centricoater, Glycol Chiller, Dryer).
  • ICAD (the integrator) handled field devices and controls integration & programming.

  • Motor Control Panel-101 with NEMA 12 Fans for temperature control.
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)-Siemens S7-1500.
  • Operator Station (Win CC HMI).
