This exciting project took our team to a setting a little different from the ordinary, to a local zoo! The zoo was expanding its number of attractions and adding thrilling habitats that showcased the Kingdoms of Asia. The new habitats required sophisticated automation to manage critical life support systems effectively. That is where our team’s skills and expertise came in!
We collaborated with various contractors to enhance new habitats at a local zoo for guests to immerse themselves into the intriguing Asian Animal Kingdom.
The implementation processes our team conducted is as follows:
Electrical Control Panels:
- Our team designed and created 3 custom electrical control panels.
- The panels manage habitat operations efficiently.
PLC Programs (Programmable Logic Controllers):
- Our engineers created PLC programs for habitat automation.
- The programs ensure a seamless coordination of tasks such as temperature, flow regulation, and lighting control.
HMI Systems (Human-Machine Interfaces):
- Our team programmed user-friendly HMIs.
- This ensured operators could control parameters, monitor real-time data, and receive alarms.
Sophisticated automation was required to manage critical life support systems.
On-Site Commissioning:
- Rigorously tested and fine-tuned the entire system.
- Ensured habitats functioned optimally and as required by customer.
Operation and Maintenance Manual (O&M):
- Created a detailed and comprehensive O&M manual.
- Provided detailed instructions for system operations and maintenance.
- Conducted on-site training for zoo operators and addressed questions.
