Critical Controls
Integration of solar panels into power plant controls is a specialty of ours.
Mission-critical power plants offer significant challenges requiring specialized engineering expertise to integrate all of the equipment into an organized system. Cogeneration facilities are our specialty. We integrate control of the individual units (provided by others) with a master control system responsible for syncing individual units to the bus along with load shedding incase of emergency unit failure. We can integrate with the specialized power generation switch gear using Modbus, INCOM and other networks.
We can also work with large scale solar installations. We do not provide the actual solar panels or their installation, but we can work with the solar contractor to integrate it with the building existing electrical infrastructure and energy management system.

We have done power projects for both private and public customers, including Vandenberg Space Force Base.
ICAD has a long history of complex power plant controls projects, both large and small. Our expert engineers design control panels, supervise integration and provide onsite commissioning. This requires precision collaboration with partners and other on-site teams. Our teams manage each part of the build-out process to keep the project on time and under budget.
