In a collaborative approach with Lighthouse Electrical and the operations team of our customer, we successfully enhanced the sustainability and efficiency of the municipality’s water treatment plant. By upgrading the plant’s automation hardware and optimizing its control system, we provided the district with key data and improved operational capabilities. Additionally, these efforts further emphasize the district’s commitment towards securing the well-being of its residents.

Our Approach

Electrical Control Panels:

• Demoed and installed two PLCs.
• Updated IO drawings using AutoCAD.
• Installed two updated PLCs with IO modules.

PLC Programs:

• Modified PLC programs for updated control optimization.
• The updated PLC program ensured seamless coordination of key data and control for tank mixers and lift station motors.

HMI Systems:

• Programmed user-friendly HMIs.
• The HMIs allowed operators to control parameters, monitor real-time data, and receive alarms.

On-Site Commissioning:

• Rigorously tested and fine-tuned the entire system.
• Ensured the water treatment plant functioned optimally.

Operation and Maintenance Manual (O&M):

• Developed a comprehensive O&M manual.
• Provided instructions for system operation and maintenance.
• Conducted on-site training for operators.
